Francesco is an Environmental Engineer graduated from the Polytechnic of Turin's Georesources and Geotechnology Department in 2001. He has been a full professor of LCA and Eco-design at Riga Technical University's Institute of Energy Systems and Environment since 2020. In addition to teaching LCA and Eco-design, Applied Geophysics technique, and Adapting to Climate Change: Risk and Resilience, Prof. Romagnoli contributes to biotechnology and renewable energy courses. Prof. Romagnoli has led a consulting group on using LCA to promote EPD and PEF eco-labeling since 2018. Prof. Romagnoli is working with Autostrade per l'Italia Group engineering company Tecne SPA to promote LCA in management and infrastructure design.
Fabian is a chemical engineer with over ten years of experience in the chemicals, oil, gas, and food sectors. Fabian has a master's degree in environmental science. He got an honored degree developing his thesis on the life cycle assessment of a new chemical process for bio-ethylene production by Oxidative Coupling of bio-methane.

Fabian has worked for more than six years in sustainability, combining different roles as a scientific researcher, LCA manager, and Senior EPD developer performing LCA, Life Cycle Costing evaluations, and Social Life Cycle Assessments in European Union-sponsored projects on energy systems and food supply chains, as well as in the chemical and construction sectors. He is a Ph.D. candidate with a dissertation on a Life Cycle Sustainability methodology for the food industry.
